NORTH CANTON, OHIO, June 1, 2021 – Chipotle Mexican Grill is bringing a first of its kind store format to the former Blair’s Cleaners site at the corner of Market avenue and Easton street in North Canton near Washington Square.
The 1,820 square foot restaurant will feature a “Chipotlane” drive-thru pick up window and will have limited interior seating. The new store type is part of Chipotle’s initiative to emphasize use of ordering through their website and mobile app. This will be Chipotle’s sixth location in Stark County, but first to unveil the smaller, drive-thru and pickup focused configuration.
Developer A. Altman Company knocked down the former dry-cleaning facility and plans to start construction on a new 3,527 square foot building this month. Chipotle will occupy roughly half of the building, with an additional 1,707 square feet of retail space being constructed immediately adjacent to it. “We are excited to help Chipotle bring their new store format to life, and to clean up this high visibility corner.” said Jake Miller, Partner at A.
